WorldCast Systems has announced the sale of over 100 IP Silver units to broadcasters and commercial audio providers throughout Romania. Sold through Bucharest-based dealer, Laet Exim, the IP Audio Encoder and IP Audio Decoder Silver units work together to deliver professional quality audio content over affordable IP networks. 
Marius Marin, Owner and CEO of Laet Exim explained that, as the cost of public internet links in Romania is very low and the reliability very reasonable, it is the preferred solution for distributing audio between locations. He provides IP audio links for both broadcasters and retail streaming customers, supplying a full turnkey solution. Having previously deployed low cost audio streamers from a different manufacturer, Marin was disappointed with the audio quality - the Signal-Noise Ratio was unacceptable at approximately ---35dB – so he turned to WorldCast Systems who suggested the IP Audio Silvers.
The IP Audio Encoder & Decoder Silvers not only improved the SNR but also the audio dynamics and THD providing an overall significant improvement in audio quality using the Enhanced apt-X algorithm. The very low delay offered by Enhanced apt-X is also a major benefit as it enables the DJ to stay fully in control of the transmission.
Providing the IP Silvers to their customers, Laet Exim, enable them to utilize datalinks that are very low cost and very high quality and, for an initial outlay that is nearly half that of the previous solution.
